The customer can select either of the following validity options:
- One trading day: the order is valid for one day only.
- Good till week : the order is valid till the end of the current week.

What are the pricing options?

 

The options available are:
      1-Market Order: A buy and sell order with specified quantities per market rate. In this case the customer's        purchasing power should exceed the allowable limit (10%), which is applicable in buying orders only.
      2- Limit Order: A buy or sell order with specified quantity and price.

Can I modify an outstanding order?

 

Yes, you can modify the following: price, quantity, and duration, add or delete condition.
But you can not modify the following: symbol, order type, portfolio number.

What happens to the order if my available balance does not cover the bid quantity price?

 

Prior to acceptance of an entered order, the system will match the order price to the designated current account balance. This measure aims to ensure that the order is fully executable without overdrawing the account. If the balance is insufficient, the System will show a message indicating that the available balance is inadequate to execute the order.

When the market opens which orders are executed first?

 

               Market orders will have first priority.
               Orders that are priced better than opening price.

During trading hours, which orders are executed first?

 

Orders are executed subject to the following priorities:
              Market order.
              Order that is priced the best.
              Unconditional prior to conditional orders.
              First- in first –out (order seniority).

Click on the cancel icon beside the order number. A cancellation confirmation screen will appear.

If no order validity is fixed, the system will automatically enter it as a one trading day order.

When is an order suspended?

 

An order is suspended when it is placed for more than one day and exceeds the limit up and down in the days following.

When is an order rejected?

 

       1- When the price is out of limits.
       2- If company traded (symbol) is suspended.
       3- If the customer is the buyer and seller at the same time.
       4- If the customer enters duplicate orders.
       5- If customer places two opposite orders for the same company one of which is a market order.

How can a customer withdraw from his account?

 

       - Filling the appropriate transfer form through one of OC Branches.
       - Through OC internet site.
       - By fax.
